“Good News” Compliance Webinar

Thursday, March 21, 2019
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm CST

Employers typically think employee benefits compliance is complicated, confusing, and full of bad news. In this webinar we are looking at the compliance world from a different angle. We will cover good news about compliance obligations that are going away, like the end of the PCORI fee, and the rescission of the HPID requirement. We will review ways that employers can use compliance rules to save money or avoid risk, for example, how an employer can reduce COBRA costs by helping qualified beneficiaries understand their other options. We will also share ideas about how to use the IRS employer safe harbor rules to reduce the employer’s plan contribution requirements.
